VAT: International supplies of goods

VAT must be charged on the taxable supply of goods within each EU member state. However, there are also VAT implications when there are cross-border supplies in situations when:

- goods are “imported” from a non-EU country into the European Community. Import VAT must be accounted for.

    VAT Package: 2010 & beyond
